Hacking is illegal. Now if you had logme in on both computers then you could legally do it, but what you want to do is against the law.

You will need to set up a VNC or RDP server to be able to do this.
But that will take a while to set up.
But your mom is probably an area where a wlan is not set up.
Tell her to go to another place and she should get a network.
Most networks could be protected with a WPA/WEP key, meaning the network has a password encrypted to it. So don’t guarantee to find one.
She can also go to some Hawaii computer store and get a router like linksys, set it up to her computer, include the gateway, subnet mask, etc..
    Good luck.

    Hacking is not needed.
You should enable remote assistance program. This program is often used in IT helpdesk to help support their clients, it allow the expert to take over the notice’s computer across the internet.

Use team viewer. This is the simplest way, in my opinion. Your not trying to hack, your trying to remotely assist.

Tell your mom to buy a wireless router and hook it up to her existing computer connection. Or go to an open Wi-Fi area like Dunkin Donuts.

If you have her permission then why do you need to hack?
