You shouldn’t believe him.
A buffer overflow error is the result of data being input into a fixed-length section of memory and overflowing into other memory. It’s the result of shoddy programming practice in the operating system and in applications. .There is absolutely no way that kind of thing can affect your battery.
I suggest you get rid of Windows and install Linux and learn a bit about system security; then you won’t have to worry about your insecure operating system and lack of knowledge putting you at risk. Better yet, buy a Mac.
