Is It Possible For Someone To Hack Into My Computer And Watch Something On Windows Media Player?

One time my friend and I were getting ready to watch something on windows media player, but as soon as we opened it there was a porno there! Can someone hack into my comp and watch something on windows media, or does this just mean at some point someone watched it on my computer?

A Hacker wouldn’t just hack your computer to load a porno and watch it. It means the last time windows media player was used a porno was viewed and the fact that it still plays means that it is still on your computer. So someone has downloaded and watched that porno. Sorry to say. Good Luck HTH.

Someone was watching pornography on your computer is what it means.
If someone was going to hack into your computer, they would have much more interesting things to do than look at pornography.

Yes, they can even take control over your computer. Try to use firewalls and antivirus software.

Can it be done? YES. Would they do what you just mentioned, NO.
That is a waste of time as the video refresh rate when looking a video with Media Player over a VNC or Terminal Services SUCKS!
It gets stuck all the time and they can not really watch the movie without experiencing constant refresh of their screen and stop and jumps of the action.
It must have been a visitor in your house.

Yep. I seriouly doubt if someone hacked into your system just to use your mediaplayer to play porn….somone at your place with access to the system was watching it.
Just yell “Who the hell been looking at porn on my computer!!!” then watch for the person with the stupid look on their face. or could be the first person to yell “wasnt me”

yeah hackers tend to have the bad habit of watching porn on other peoples computers so it can’t be tracked down to them =p
if you have any brothers or guy friends who were using your laptop its most likely them or sometimes its sisters or girl friends..you never know these days..

probably someone with immediate access to your computer was looking at it.
