No hacking is not possible. Microsoft has extreme security measures and no normal person has the technology to break into their security. If they can hack into Microsoft stuff they wouldn’t waste their time on a Live account.
People get accounts by phishing and password guessing. If you have a good password no one should be able to guess it same with your recovery question answer. Phishing is where someone makes you willingly give them your password by telling you they will give you something you want but they need your e-mail and password to give it to you.
So don’t tell people your password and make sure it can’t be guessed and you’ll be fine.
