i made a password for my mini laptop, and i think while typing it, i made a typo. so now, i have thousands of different ways it may be written. any help?

I suggest you to start your PC in safe mode. Once you do that, there will be an additional user name(ONLY in safe mode) called Administrator. Login (without password) then go to Control Panel and remove password for the forgotten account. Then make a new password that is easy for you to remember but hard for someone to guess!!!
To start in Safe Mode:
When the computer starts up, continue to press F8 untill a black screen with white writing appears, here, use the up and down arrows to navigate and enter to select. Navigate to Safe mode and then choose the type of safe mode you would like.
(If you need to use the internet during Safe Mode, choose “Safe Mode with networking.”)
To exit safe mode, just restart your computer and it will start normally.
