Nope there is no way you can do that, The iphone is a GSM phone (uses simcards) where as Verizon is a CDMA carrier (doesn’t use simcards). They use different cell technology and are NOT compatible with each other. You can only use the iphone with another GSM carrier such as T-Mobile (if unlocked).
unfortunatly, u can’t. verizon uses a different technology, and verizon doesn’t have sim cards so u wouldn’t have anything to put into the iphone once it was unlocked. also, u can’t unlock the 3g iphone. they made them that way. it would almost be pointless if u could though because the big thing about them is the 3g technology, and only sprint & at&t have the 3g technology..so it would just be like a regular 1st generation iphone. if u had tmobile, u could buy a 1st generation iphone & unlock it, but not with verizon. i hope that helps & if u have any other questions about it, feel free 2 email me.

Unfortunately, no. The actual core hardware inside of the iPhone is GSM, which is used in most providers, and Verizon is CDMA.
