i have a broadband router with wireless setup but not connected in any way to my desktop computer or my laptop they both just access the internet through the wireless. Is it still possible for someone to hack into my files or online data?

Yes, wireless is the most unsaved system which is been developed at the moment.
The moment you try to connect to a wireless (network) it sends request out (requirements to log-on on the system)….. that can be captured and used by an outsider, with a sniffer for example. But it’s only possible by an IT expert.
But the outsider is at short range, that’s the only benefit.
PS: using somebodies else it’s network or broadband via wireless is something totally different than hacking into a computer via wireless network.

yeah, its possible to get past ANYTHING, keep in mind everything is accessable, it just depends on how good he/it is… but its not likely
