Writing Short Novel (novella), Need Advice, Help Please.?

I’m 15 and want to write a supernatural/cyberpunk short novel (novella) and need alot of good advice.
I’ve gone through many attempts, and all have failed. I really want to write a short novel and publish it online, but i need some help.
I need some really good advice. On how to start it, end it, make it seem realisitc, make characteres seem real, make the world i create seem real as if you can see it and feel it, smell it.make plot thrilling, engaging, intersting, fast-paced, a page turner.
So, you think you can give me some good advice? Thanks.

In my opinion the key is blending the two different styles supernatural and cyberpunk. Supernatural of course involves some aspects of the mystical, where cyberpunk involves cold clinical reality.
How do you plan to blend the two? You can do it like William Gibson did in Count Zero, where the Voodoo Lao are really artificial intelligences or maybe vampires or werewolves are really biological experiments.
Or it could be that the supernatural truly is mythical and co-exist with supper science like in the game and novel of Shadowrun. Or Lilith Saintcrow’s Dante Valentine novels. Once you decided how cyberpunk and the supernatural coexist, and explain it to your reader you will b eon your way. But you may want to tease your audience a little and not start off with the answers.
Finally good cyberpunk and urban fantasy tend to be character driven stories. Make sure you have a memorable lead character, or an interesting team. There uniqueness will be key. There are two many Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Mulder and Scully clones out there.
Sorry that’s the best advice I can give you with out knowing more about your story.
    Good luck.

Don’t worry about writing the perfect novel. All good writing is writing and re-writing. Start writing and keep writing until you think it is finished. (Should be from 30,000 to 50,000 words.) Don’t worry about getting everything the first time. Once you have written it, put it away for 2 months. Then pull it out and do a quick read thru. Ask yourself what you liked about it and what you didn’t. Then begin editing. An excellent way to write a 50,000 word novel is to participate in the National Novel Writing Month, beginning November 1. You can find info at http://www.nanowrimo.org.
