This question is only going to be answered by an opinion but that is precisely what I’m looking for.
I recently purchased Sims 2 (and will be playing it as soon as I put in my DVD-rom) and I wanted to find a good site for downloading free and safe user-created downloads, such as hair, eyes, clothes, items, etc.
The fashions I’m most interested in for my Sims (in case you’d like to know for reference purposes) are: Steampunk, cyberpunk, alternative, emo, punk, scene, rocker, anything along those lines. I also wouldn’t mind some “gay-friendly” clothes and things of that nature.
I have: Sims 2, Celebration Stuff, and Nightlife, in case you need to know.
What Is The Best Site For Free Sims 2 Downloads?

I would say modthesims2 is really good. You can start there and they have links to other sites.

Once you went to the website (http://thesims2.ea.com/), at the top of the new site, scroll your mouse over EXCHANGE. Then, you’ll see a drop down menu. Click on Sims. You can also download lots, objects, and more. And last, once you’ve clicked Sims, on the left, you’ll see where it says KEYWORD, where you’ll be able to type in the kind of sim you’re browsing for to download. You can also enter further information on the sim you’re browsing for, if you scroll down like, GENDER, AGE, etc.
I hope that helped and happy siming! =Phttp://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/search.p…
